Melanie, Daniel’s mom, wrote a post that really outlines how I’ve been feeling lately:


Just today I spent 30 minutes calling someone to follow up on the appeal for Nathan’s hart walker, until he finally told me to call the vendor and ask them to follow up, how told me I had to call the case manager, who told me she has to ask the review team and call me back. And that was in between 2 other calls from other people in the agency because the nurse manager wasn’t calling back. And I know it’s just a few calls but this happens day after day.

Every special needs kid should come with two built in full time assistants 🙂
