Extraordinary Measures

Today we went to the movies and watched Extraordinary Measures.  I was already sobbing after the first few scenes.  I thought it was a really powerful story.  They really captured the essence of living with a child with disabilities.  I won’t say much because I hope everyone watches it.  It was a great movie.

I didn’t get out of pijamas today.  It was just one of those days.  I put on a jacket over my PJ tops and sweat pants over my pj pants and some Ugg boots and off I went.  It’s been so cold.  At least it seems to have stopped raining.

And because it’s friday, a couple of confessions:

*  This is my 3rd day without taking a shower.  I know…ewwwwwwwwwwwww groooosssssssssssssss! It’s just tooo cold!

*  I’m a kiss-a-holic.  I can’t stop kissing Nathan – he’s just too yummy!

*  I was a tomboy as a kid.  Would choose playing with my brothers cars any day before playing with barbies. Although I did have a pair of twin dolls that I loved, they were the only girly toys I played with.

*  I’ve always dreamed of writing a book and living in a little cabin in the mountains overlooking the ocean far far away from society.

*  I have 133 emails that I need to reply to.  Would someone like to volunteer as my office assistant 😉

Have a lovely weekend!!!

  2. I hate to do anything when its cold too. But I like to take hot, hot baths, so I might have two a day when it gets cold.
