I just got the call, Nathan’s scheduled for his hip surgery this Friday. We’ve had to postpone it several times because he always gets sick. This time seems like it might actually happen. I’ll keep everyone posted, but if you can, think of Mr. Smiles this Friday morning.

- At icu now. Doctors trying to figure out why Nathans having these problems. He is awake and watching spider man. Every time we take off the oxygen he desats, so still have a ways to go. Thanks for your prayers!!!! Theyre definitely helping!
- Seems the helium is working. A few minutes ago they were talking about intubation, now the doctor came in and said hes not sure he even needs to go to ICU. Hes awake and his breaths are much deeper Prayers are working! Wow this has been one of the scariest days of my life.
- Still struggling to breathe, cant seem to keep his 02 sats. They are going to try giving him helium with oxygen.
- Stable now. Requiring oxygen. Theyre admitting him to ICU.
- Tons of doctors rushing in worse than we thought pray pray pray
- Back at the hospital, pneumonia we're thinking.
- Up in the Air
- Trying Something New
- Ready for Mothers Day lunch.
- Enjoying the new kitchen :-)
- Cheese!
- Having a blast at Chuck E Cheese with school mates!
- Prayers are working!

Oh sweet Marcela, I have missed you terribly and that sweet smiling face of Nathans! We will be praying for him and the surgery. Cate had hers done when she was just 1 1/2 and weighed only 13 lbs. Is he having his aductors released as well? I don’t have your number anymore b/c my phone died…..would love to catch up sometime. 605 337 2880 home or 605 680 9680 cell. Hey Tami, yes, it’s the whole 9 yards. It’s so great to hear from you! I love receiving your emails, you hvae such a beautiful family! I’ll definitely call you in the next few weeks. BTW, is Cate’s surgery “holding”? How are her hips now? Love to you, and all your sweet children!!!
