Thank you so much for everyone who commented or emailed about the idea of creating these cards. Honestly, right after I posted, I thought – how dumb. I am so glad so many people liked the idea – I am now super excited about it!

Hi, my name is Nathan. It’s nice to meet you.
You might be wondering why I act different from other kids my age. When I was in my mommy’s tummy, the parts of my brain that make my body work didn’t form right, so I have a hard time getting my body to do what I want it to do. I understand everything, I just can’t talk or walk (but I am trying very hard to learn). I like to watch TV, hang out with my friends, go to music class, eat chocolate, and to go to the park. I know I may look different on the outside, but on the inside, I am just another happy little boy.
