I found the miracle cure to all of Nathan’s problems – GRANDMA!
He spent most of the afternoon and early evening at grandma’s house and came back a new boy. He was glowing, smiling, happy, squealing, content. It filled my heart with joy to see him so happy!
On a good note, yesterday I went to an open house at CHIME institute. I LOVED it! I really want him to go to school there. He will be in heaven. There are 18 kids in the class – 3 with special needs, 15 regular – and I think he would go CRAZY in a class with that many children jumping, playing, etc. I will now have to convince his IEP team that it’s the best placement for him, but I’m sure I can find a way. It is a fabulous program.

I am a mommy of two boys… You don’t know me, but I have heard about Nathan from Farnaz. I used to work with her and my first boy is her son’s friend. Anyways… I was just checking Nathan’s blog (or your blog…) the other day and my heart was saddened to read what you and your family is going through. I am amazed by your commitment in giving the best for Nathan. I found myself rooting for you (quietly and unknown to you…). I am burdened to make myself known and make the cheering known to you! You are amazing! I am glad that you are able to participate in MEDEK therapy. I will be praying for you and your family!
