We’re back in the game!

Today Nathan and I had a wonderful day. I had a terrible night with fevers and vomiting and thought we were in for a rough day – especially when Denise, the nanny, didn’t come to work. It turned out to be the opposite.

After all of the wonderful support and advice, I felt happier and calmer. Maybe Nathan perceived this? He woke up happy and in a great mood. He did REALLY well in both of his CME sessions and is back on track! Both Ramon and I felt that today was the first day since he got sick that Nathan was back on track and happily working hard. I don’t have a care in the world when I see my son happy and working hard in his therapy. It was almost like he knew I was having a rough time, and he wanted to let me know that I shouldn’t doubt him, that I should have faith in him. If he could speak he would probably say, “Mommy, don’t give up on me!”. Baby, I hear you loud and clear.

I leave you with videos of his sessions today:

Nathan, I am so proud of you!

I think that 1 reason you may be having trouble seeing the progress that Nathan is making is because you are with him ALL the time. And to you it seems that his progress has stalled or is only very small inchstones. On the other hand, I have only seen Nathan through this wonderful blog. Looking at the videos above especially #’s 2 & 3 and comparing these to videos that you posted when Nathan 1st. started Medek. I can see GREAT progress. I have listened to vieos #4 several times and I swear I heard Mr. Nathan say DaDa! Guess he was wishing that his dada was there to see what a wonderful job he was doing.

Keep up the program, Nathan WILL get to where you would like to see his progress one day soon!

  3. Thanks for sharing the videos. It is great to be a part of this journey with you. I agree with Donna–it is difficult to see progress when you are with someone all the time. Having been around all of Nathan’s life I do see great progress especially in his awareness of those around him and his desire to learn. I hope you are feeling better soon. Thinking of you.

  5. BRAVO Nathan!
