Graboid

It’s been a crappy day. Nathan doesn’t want to eat, is barely drinking, and only wants to watch TV. He’s not running fevers or vomiting so I’m just letting him be.

In the meantime, I discovered Graboid. While he was napping I was stressed and needed something to do. I decided to look around for a way to watch TV shows for free online. And I found Graboid. It’s super cool! You get a certain amount of bandwidth for free, but after a while you have to pay for a subscribption, but it’s not too expensive.

Anyways, I’m enjoying this new entertainment form and thought I’d share.

Nathan Sunday AM

Fortunately Nathan only woke up once at night and slept pretty well the rest of the night. He woke up without a fever and his usual perky self. Phew – removing “lethargy” from the list of symptoms removes the “shunt infection” possibility and leaves us with a simple cold or flu. Thanks for everyone who said a prayer for him – it worked – he turned around so fast!!! THANK YOU!

Nathan’s sick

We went to Catita’s birthday party (pictures soon) and Nathan was a bit “off” but he seemed to enjoy himself. At the end I felt him getting warmer and warmer and we checked his temp and he was running a fever. While I called a Chilean doctor who gave us his cell phone, Nathan started vomiting. We took him straight to ER but they were pretty crowded and wouldn’t be able to see him for at least an hour, so I decided to bring him home and keep an eye on him from home. He’s asleep now and I’m going to be sleeping with him so I can keep an eye on him all night, and if he’s still sick tomorrow, we’ll probably head over to the ER.

Please keep Nathan in your prayers! My fear is obviously that it’s a shunt problem, as he has vomiting, fever, and lethargy, but hopefully it’s just a bug and he’ll be better tomorrow. I’ll keep you guys posted.
