The view from here

Taken from the balcony of the apartment where we are staying:

Time for a nap!

My grandma and some of her endless parade of visitors.

My grandma (88) and her brother (84)

I don’t think I like the taste of salt water very much!

This is kinda fun though

No more salt water in my mouth, no more salt water in my mouth…

I think I’m kinda starting to like this!

(after this the camera went wonky so I couldn’t take any pics of Nathan swimming in the ocean 🙁

All that playing in the sand and ocean left me…

Carriage ride through Old Town Cartagena.

Other than my getting violently ill yesterday with vomiting and other symptoms, things have been going well. Hopefully things will be better today, as we didn’t get to do much yesterday!

Carpe Diem!

We had an easy trip to Colombia, the kids were both wonderful and beautifully behaved. We’ve already had 2 days of fun in the sun and we are all loving it!

We’ve spent the afternoons at the beach. Izzy has no fear of the ocean so we are on constant suicide watch. Nathan LOVES the warm ocean water and we’re spending lots of time swimming, his swim collar works perfectly even in the wavy ocean!

They’ve gotten massages at the beach and drank coconut water straight from a coconut and ridden a banana boat ( don’t freak out mom they didnt fall off! ).

For this I am grateful to Nathan’s recent hospitalization as thats what pushed me to appreciate Nathan’s every breath more than ever and to embrace life while we still have it! It’s the reason we are here.

Carpe Diem!

Au Revoir

We are off to Colombia tomorrow morning. Less than 12 hours from now we should be in the air.

I have no idea if/when I will be able to update.

Rest assured that we will be chilling happily at the beach, tanning, swimming, sipping coconut water and eating fresh fish.

We will be there for 1 whole month!

Tata for now!

PS And if you are a client whose name starts with a T, YES, I will be working, if you need anything email me ;-)!!!!!
